Once again the annual Wildlife Photography show returns to the Natural History Museum. Celebrating its 60th year we think this year is a vinatge one. With over 50,000 entrants from 95 countries the selected 100 on show are quite simply staggering.
Amateur and professional photographers have explored all corners of our globe, from sprawling urban cities to the deep blue polar seas. Our favourite shot this year was 'Bewteen a Rock and a Hard Place' taken by Larry Taylor (USA) when he unexpectedly spotted a glowing white ermine scaling a canyon crevice.
Once again we are in awe of the younger years categories. This shot was taken by 10 yrs old Sasha Jumanca from Germany. She describes the butterflies dancing in the air from one flower to the next.
Opening just in time for half term this one is always a dandelion favourite.
